At Mind we campaign for everyone with a mental health problem to be able to access excellent care and services and to be treated fairly, positively and with respect. We’re building a team of Mind community activists to support our national campaigns by organising locally, bringing people together and speaking with decision-makers. Whether it’s your own experience or about someone close to you, your story matters, we want to help you tell it.
All you need is a passion for better mental health – we will give you online training sessions and resources to help you feel confident about networking and speaking out. Small campaign actions in your own area help build momentum across the country. Together we can make change happen.
As a Community Activist we will invite you to join specific campaigning opportunities focusing on some of our priority areas. Here you will learn about the campaign, create and deliver local plan. You can choose if you want to join these based on your personal experience, interest and availability.
For more information please read our role description.
As this is a brand new role we will close recruitment after recruiting 25 campaigners, we will then extend recruitment at a later date.
